Fashion in Fiction

On Wednesday, Kandie Carle will present her Fashion in Fiction program. She will illustrate how clothing speaks volumes in Jane Austen's Regency novels.

While dressed in authentic Regency attire, Ms Carle gives an overview of the clothing of the Regency Era, then highlight Jane Austen's use of clothing and fashion in her novels to define character, enhance story line and develop plot points. Teens through adults will love discovering just how important fashion was 200 years ago!
