Fight Over President-Elect Trump at a Connecticut Restaurant Leaves One Man Hospitalized
Police say a verbal dispute escalated with one man being hospitalized for his injuries.

OLD SAYBROOK, CT β Police say they were called to a local restaurant Friday night for a fight in progress between patrons over President-Elect Donald J. Trump.
At 8:40 p.m. police received multiple 911 calls from patrons and an employee inside the Cuckoo's Nest, 1712 Boston Post Road, reporting a physical altercation in progress on the second floor of the restaurant, police said. Callers reported that dishes were being thrown, police said.
Upon arrival police determined that two males, who were not aquatinted with each other, got into a verbal argument which turned physical about President-elect Trump, police said.

One male was placed under arrest while the other was transported to the Middlesex Medical Center Shoreline Emergency Department for injuries sustained in the altercation, police said.
Both people involved will face charges, police said. WTNH News 8 reports that Evan Brown, 34, of Lyme, was charged with third-degree assault and both Brown and Douglas Dahlberg, 58, of Clinton were charged with second-degree breach of peace.
