The East Haddam Green Committee
The East Haddam Green Committee will meet this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the River House on the Town Office Complex. Responsibilities of the committee include determining the town's eco-footprint and reporting the results to help "promote a more eco-friendly town". The committee was formed in 2008 and has been involved in a variety of eco-concious projects in town including the establishment of a Community Food Bank Garden. All are welcome to attend.

EHFPL Book Club
The East Haddam Free Public Library will hold its first meeting of the EHFPL Book Club on Wednesday from 6pm to 7pm. This month's book of the month is Half Broke Horses by Jeannette Walls. The library is located at 18 Plains Rd in Moodus. Refreshments will be served. Call ahead with questions at (860) 873-8248.
