Six Local Historical Societies Want You to Get Lost [Video]
Lost in local heritage, that is.
On Sunday, the hosted a kick-off event for the Get Lost in Heritage campaign. The project is a culmination of six local historical societies working together to promote historical museums through one brochure.
The purpose of the brochure is to encourage people to head to the museums to learn about our rich local history, while collecting colorful bracelets at each location. As a bonus, you can also enter to win an overnight stay for a family of four at the Saybrook Inn and Spa or the Inn at Middletown.
The historical societies of Chester, Deep River, East Haddam, Haddam, Middlesex County and Old Saybrook are the six participating societies.

- Chester Museum at the Mill
- The Stone House in Deep River
