Glastonbury Natural Healthcare Practice Expands

Growing demand for natural health care has led to the expansion of a local naturopathic medical practice. Glastonbury Naturopathic Center has announced the addition of Dr. Teresa Spano, ND to their staff of practitioners. β€œIncreased awareness of the benefits of a natural treatment program are driving greater numbers of patients to the Glastonbury Naturopathic Center.” said Dr. Helene Pulnik, ND LAc, Medical Director at the Center. β€œPatients tell us they are relieved to experience the benefits of naturopathic medicine” added Dr. Pulnik, β€œand they in turn tell their family, friends, and colleagues.” Dr. Spano is a graduate of the College of Naturopathic Medicine in Bridgeport, CT where she received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. β€œAddressing the root causes of chronic suffering in a natural way is not only more effective with fewer side-effects” said Dr. Spano, β€œbut greater numbers of people are simply asking how they can feel better, naturally.” Dr. Spano’s clinical training included over 1200 hours in general medicine, integrative oncology, physical medicine, classical homeopathy, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and First Line Therapy, a personalized, science-based nutritional program. Dr. Spano’s expanded studies focused on Functional Medicine, Detoxification, and UNDA Biodrainage Therapy. Prior to her doctoral training, Dr. Spano earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a Chemistry minor, pre-medicine concentration at SUNY Oneonta. Dr. Spano accepts Anthem Blue Cross, Cigna, and Connecticare, and is now accepting new patients.
