H-K Runs All Over Windsor Locks Football Tri-op [PHOTOS]
Four touchdowns by Alex Segaline powered the Cougars to a 41-16 victory Saturday; there are 18 photos in the accompanying gallery.
WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — Alex Segaline scored four touchdowns, including three in the first half, to pace Haddam-Killingworth to a 41-16 victory over the Windsor Locks-Suffield-East Granby tri-op in Pequot Conference football action Saturday.
Segaline tallied the only points of the opening quarter on a 2-yard run, then broke off scoring dashes of 20 and 60 yards in the second quarter to give the Cougars a 27-8 lead at intermission. Noah Vinci also scored in the first half, on a 6-yard run.
After the break, Tobey Callender scored from 17 yards out, then Segaline combined with quarterback Jon Grasso on a 57-yard scoring pass for the Cougars' final points.

Segaline finished with 160 yards rushing.
The Raiders scored on a 63-yard pass play from Jameson Gill to Eric Pino in the second quarter, then Gill closed the scoring on a 1-yard run in the final period.

Haddam-Killingworth (2-4) hosts Coventry-Windham Tech-Bolton Friday at 6:30 p.m. Windsor Locks-Suffield-East Granby (0-5) looks to break into the win column Saturday, traveling to the Old Saybrook-Westbrook co-op at noon.
