Haddam Crash Leaves Woman in Critical Condition, Airlifted to Hospital

HADDAM, CT – A woman was airlifted to a local hospital after a crash early Saturday morning, according to media reports.

The accident occurred close to 6 a.m. on Beaver Meadow Road and Parker Hill Road, NBC Connecticut reported. Police and EMS responded to find a woman had careened off the road in her SUV and hit a tree.

Firefighters used tools to cut through and extract the woman from the side of the vehicle, Fox 61 reported. She was then transported to a field and airlifted to the hospital.

Responders said the woman was in critical condition, according to Fox 61. Police are investigating the situation.
