Haddam, East Haddam & Killingworth Weekend Guide: 'The Snow Goose' At Goodspeed And A Historical Society Gala

EAST HADDAM, CT — East Haddam carries the Columbus Day weekend for its river-valley neighbors, from Thursday, Oct. 8, through Sunday, Oct. 11, with Goodspeed's world premiere musical in its final two weeks and a Saturday night fundraiser for the town's historical society.

• "The Snow Goose" — Thursday through Sunday, with 2 p.m. matinees and 7:30 p.m. evening shows on select days. In Scott Gilmour and Claire McKenzie's world premiere musical, based on Paul Gallico's novel, a reclusive artist and a young woman bond over an injured snow goose on England's coast as World War II approaches; the run ends Oct. 18, and $15 student rush tickets are available for evening shows.
