Haddam Firefighters Respond to Smoke at Skinner Road Residence

Haddam Volunteer Fire Company responded to a call for inside smoke Sunday night at Haddam Volunteer Ambulance Service, Inc. on Skinner Road in Higganum. A member of the Ambulance Service called it in.

Firefighters determined that a malfunctioning ballast in the light fixture was causing the smoke. Firefighters disconnected the ballast and recommended contacting an electrician.
