Haddam Firefighters #WearYellowForSeth
The fire department came together to support 5-year-old Seth Lane, a U.K. boy battling Severe Combined Immunodeficiency.
Five-year-old Seth Lane is battling a genetic condition called Severe Combined Immunodeficiency, often called “Bubble Boy” disease. He shared his story in the video below and he and his family are asking people to #WearYellowForSeth on Friday, March 27.
Yellow is Seth’s favorite color. He also loves the children’s television shows Fireman Sam and PAW Patrol. The Haddam Volunteer Fire Company wanted to show Seth that he has support here in Haddam.

To encourage Seth to keep fighting, his parents have asked people around the world to wear yellow to support him on March 27, when he will undergo a bone marrow transplant. People can post photos online via Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and they will print out the pictures and hang them in Seth’s hospital room.

Seth, who loves the children’s television shows Fireman Sam, PAW Patrol and the color yellow, is receiving the support from more than 40 Haddam firefighters and Junior members donning their yellow-striped turnout gear, yellow fire trucks and signs of encouragement.
Seth also is receiving photos of Fireman (Chief) Sam Baber and Booster, the HVFCo. mascot, who resembles the character “Marshall” on PAW Patrol.
