Haddam Skier Places in Mount Snow Academy's Top Spots

HADDAM, CT-- Three Connecticut athletes have been recognized for their skills on the slopes, according to Deerfield Valley News. Mount Snow Academy (MSA) recently held their Carinthia Open which was recently upgraded to an AFP Silver Event by the Association of Freeski Professionals, according to the paper.

Garrett Whaley, of Monroe, qualified in the Junior National Championships to compete among 90 of the best free skiers in their age group in the nation, based on their results over the season.

Others headed to the U14 State Championships in Stowe, VT are Charlie Coffin, of Ridgefield and Riley McHugh, of Haddam, according to the report.

Mount Snow Academy is a winter slopeside academy for alpine, freeskiing and snowboarding.
