Haddam Troopers Arrest Suspect for Vehicle Break-Ins and Credit Card Theft: Report
After further investigation, troopers made and arrest following reports of theft and vehicle break-ins.

HADDAM, CT – State Troopers from the Haddam Resident Trooper’s Office arrested one person following a month-long larceny investigation.
State police announced that Hartford resident Alex Cruz, 19, was arrested on four charges, according to a release. He was scheduled to appear Thursday in Middletown Superior Court.
On July 3, troopers from the Haddam Resident Trooper’s Office and Troop F-Westbrook investigated two separate incidents which occurred overnight on Turkey Hill Road. Several items were stolen from unlocked vehicles, including two firearms and a credit card.

Through the course of the investigation, troopers developed information regarding a suspect and drafted several arrest warrants for the vehicle break-in’s and larcenies.
The accused had recently been arrested and is currently incarcerated in Hartford. The arrest warrants were approved by the Middletown Superior Court and the accused was served today during a court appearance.

Troopers are currently working with other law enforcement agencies to determine if this suspect is connected to any other vehicle thefts, break-in’s and larcenies in Middlesex County during the last month.
