  3. What an honor! The Lyme-Old Lyme Middle School Principal, Mark Ambruso, has been named the 2022 Connecticut Middle School Principal of the Year. Reportedly credited for his positive, fun, safe approach to running a school, Ambruso was nominated by his colleagues. The Connecticut Association of Schools and the National Association of Secondary School Principals, sponsor the award, which recognizes the achievements of individual school leaders for extraordinary leadership, and a passion for education.
