The Healthy Communities-Healthy Kids Coalition would like to recognize Erika Fleig from Higganum, CT as the Coalition Member of the Year. Erika joined the coalition in 2012, presenting information on the Community Conversation on education. Erika continued to stay involved with the coalition joining two sub-committees-education and publicity. Through her involvement in these committees she took on the role of developing the coalition blog and increasing fans on the Facebook page. In addition, Erika is constantly bringing new community members to the coalition and thinking of new ways to increase awareness of the coalition and its mission.
