Here's Where Higganum Ranks Among Top Places To Live In CT For 2023

HIGGANUM, CT — According to Rankings website Niche.com, Higganum is the No. 21 best place to live in Connecticut.

Niche.com gives Higganum an overall "A" score, and Higganum receives an "A-" for its public schools and an "A+" for being good for families. Higganum was ranked #1 in Best Places to Raise a Family in Middlesex County, according to Niche.com.

Higganum received a "B-" for diversity, a "B+" for cost of living, and a "C+" for nightlife.

According to Niche.com, the median average home value in Higganum is $351,300 and the rent is $760 a month. The median household income in Higganum is $121,736.

West Hartford was once again deemed to be the No. 1 place to live in CT for 2023. The Hartford suburb garnered an overall "A+" grade, and copped top marks for its public schools, family friendliness, and the health/fitness of its residents. It was also No. 1 on the list of the best suburbs in the state.
