Hiker Injured In Fall At East Haddam State Park: Report
First responders were called to Gillette Castle State Park when a hiker was injured Thursday afternoon.
EAST HADDAM, CT — First responders were called to Gillette Castle State Park due to a report of a fallen hiker Thursday afternoon, according to FOX 61. Velley Shore fire, state police, the Chester Hose Co., and the East Haddam and Lyme fire departments all responded.
The fall victim was found conscious and alert, then transported to a nearby hospital.
The extent of their injuries is not known, according to FOX 61.
