The Connecticut Draft Horse Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving draft horses--large work horses--that would otherwise be sold for slaughter or whose owners can’t take care of them anymore. Run by Dr. Stacey Golub, equine veterinarian, the team of rescuers includes veterinary assistants, experienced horse people, trainers and farriers.

Stop by Saturday to see for yourself the work that goes on and how you can help. For more information, visit www.ctdraftrescue.com.
