Icy Conditions Cause of Two Accidents on Route 9

Dec. 9 Post from Haddam Volunteer Fire Company:

Patchy ice conditions contributed to two traffic tie-ups on Route 9 this morning. Haddam Volunteer Fire Company responded to rollover at about 8 a.m. on Route 9S.

The driver of the vehicle was transported to Middlesex Hospital by Haddam Volunteer Ambulance Service. At about 8:45 a.m., a semi-truck became stuck on a nearby bridge, causing traffic to back up and be rerouted off Exit 9.
