In Support of Susan Link, Bruce Dutch and Matthew Budzik for East Haddam BOF

Susan Link, Bruce Dutch and Matthew Budzik are running fore re-election to the East Haddam Board of Finance. Over the last four years these three people have given tirelessly of their time and talents to help keep the Town of East Haddam on a firm financial footing in a time of shortages, declining revenue and unprecedented economic upheaval. Tax increases have been modest, our investment in the education of our children has increased, and their individual expertise in healthcare management, small business, energy conservation and the law helped the town to curb expenses in a smart way.

Small towns run on volunteerism; it is a critical part of the "rural character" that draws us to this town. We need look no further than the response to Hurricane Irene, when town government and all those volunteers pulled together to get us through the crisis, to see how vital is their contribution.

These three members of the Board of Finance exemplify the term "volunteer" and deserve your vote on Nov, 8th. Help me keep this team together for a better and brighter future for East Haddam.
