Invitation to Exhibit at Haddam Neck Quilt Show

The 26th Annual Haddam Neck Congregational Church Quilt Show will be held on Saturday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday, April 12 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

We invite you to exhibit handmade quilts (bed size, wall hangings, or miniatures), quilted clothing and other quilted items in our historic church and Parish House at 408 Quarry Hill Road, Haddam Neck, CT, 06424

The show is a fundraiser for the Haddam Neck Congregational Church and proceeds from donations received at the door help to support annual upkeep of the 19th Century Church and the historic Parish House, formerly the local one-room schoolhouse. Suggested donation for adults is $6.00, but children are free and welcome.

Hours are: Saturday, April 11, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday, April 12, 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Approximately 130 quilts and quilted items will be on display. Soup, pies, and other refreshments and baked goods will be available both days in our Tea Room. In addition, the church Ladies Aid Society will be selling crafts and raffle tickets, and a local quilt shop proprietor will offer cloth and other quilting supplies.

There is no fee to exhibit quilts, and we welcome quilters of all abilities - beginners and advanced quilters alike. To exhibit please complete a registration form for each item and return by March 27, 2015 to: Sue Olsen, Injun Hollow Road, East Hampton, CT 06424. Exhibitors will receive a letter with directions and quilt drop-off times.

If you would like to offer an exhibited item for sale, we will note this in the program. You must, however, take responsibility yourself for any sale transactions. The quilt show program will show that your item is for sale and will include your selling price and preferred contact information.
