Jet Skier Found Dead In Connecticut River In Haddam: Reports

A body was recovered after an accident involving a jet ski, according to multiple reports.

HADDAM, CT — A jet skier was found dead after an accident in the Connecticut River in Haddam on Sunday evening, according to multiple reports.

FOX 61 reports passing boaters reported a jet ski adrift around 4:45 p.m. and EnCon police recovered a body in the water around 5 p.m.

EnCon police believe there was an accident involving a single jet skier, according to NBC Connecticut.

Officials identified the victim as Stephen Fabian, 59, of Moodus, the New Haven Register reported on Monday.

The Salmon River boat launch was closed for the investigation.
