KILLINGWORTH, CT - Years of drought have led to a short season for a Killingworth Christmas tree farm, Fox 61 reported.
Winterberry Farm has been forced to cut its season short due to smaller trees caused by a drought, according to Fox 61. The owners have said the problem is due to lack of rain for two years.
The last few years have been detrimental to the farm, which has been selling trees since the mid-80’s, Fox 61 reported. The farm did experience strong sales the first two weeks of the month.
