Post from <a href="https://www.facebook.com/pages/Killingworth-Volunteer-Fire-Co/114096261986375?fref=nf" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Killingworth Volunteer Fire Co.</a>:At 1:35 this morning the KVFC was dispatched to a homeowners report of a smoke condition from basement area of their Tower Hill Rd residence.Upon arrival Firefighters determined area of origin, advanced hose line into basement, and quickly extinguished a room and content fire. No significant structural damage occurred. Cause is under investigation by Fire Marshall. Mutual Aid tankers were called to aid in water supply. No injuries occurred.
