Killingworth Library Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest Continues This Month

Join us for our kickoff event for summer! This event is open to all ages! Grab some chalk from the library’s stash and create a masterpiece on the library’s sidewalk for all to enjoy!

Thanks to the generous support of local businesses, we have many more prizes to offer and the sidewalk chalk art has been expanded to the entire month of July or until all 30 squares are decorated – whichever comes first!

This will take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday morning to facilitate social distancing. Please reserve your square online or call the library at 860-663-2000. The library will provide chalk (or you can bring your own). Photos will be taken daily and posted to the library’s Facebook page, and the photo with the most likes will win a grand prize. There will also be random prize drawings.

We regret that the library building will be closed and restrooms will not be available; please plan accordingly.
