Killingworth Pharmacy Burglary Arrest Made

He fired an AR-15-type rifle into the building to gain access, police said.

KILLINGWORTH, CT — State Police have made an arrest after the Killingworth Family Pharmacy was burglarized Sept. 4.

Suspect Reed Sturman, 26, of Killingworth was apprehended in Hartford, police said. He is charged with first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief, criminal use of a firearm, sixth-degree larceny and possession of marijuana. He was held on a $250,000 bond.

Original story: Around 5 a.m. a male exited a dark colored station wagon and fired an AR-15/M-4-type rifle into the front door to gain access. The building was unoccupied at the time.

The suspect took an undisclosed quantity and type of drugs and left the area in the vehicle.

He is described by police as a white male wearing a baseball cap, black rimmed safety type glasses, a down type vest, long pants and long sleeve shirt.
