Thomas Murphy of Colchester, 53, was killed Tuesday evening after the motorcycle he was operating collided with a pick-up truck just after 5 p.m. near the intersection of Route 82 and Hedlund Road in East Haddam, according to state police at Troop K in Colchester. Police say Murphy was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Police closed Route 82 near the Fox Hopyard Golf Course, just before the intersection with Route 156, and Life Star was called to the scene. Show us some love!
