East Haddam Memorial Day Events
Memorial Day programs in East Haddam start off with a wreath installation and volley firing at the East Haddam Bridge at 8:30am followed by another program at the Vietnam Memorial at the Goodspeed Plaza at 8:45am. The town parade steps off from the former middle school at 10am and includes a brief program on the Moodus green. This year's parade will include floats by , the l, and the b.

Haddam Memorial Day Events
The Haddam Memorial Day Parade will kick off at 9:30 a.m. on Route 81 in Higganum Center. The parade will end on the Veterans Green for ceremonies.

Immediately following the parade, the will hold a Clam Chowder Sale. The event will take place at the Haddam Youth Center, across from the Higganum town green. A cup of chowder is $3.
