Maine Author Janet Morgan will Read from Her New Mystery Novel at Colchester Bookstore

Maine author Janet Morgan will read from her new mystery novel, Katahdin Drowning at Books & Boos, 514 Westchester Rd., Colchester, on Wednesday, August 7 from 5 - 7 PM. Q & A and book signing will follow.

Katahdin Drowning is a slight departure from her Killdeer Farm mystery series. Set in northern Maine, this book explores Baxter State Park and all it has to offer. The book is also filled with murder, secrets, love triangles, and much more. Amateur sleuth and librarian Jessie Tyler – a curious, smart, and strong-willed heroine with a tragic past – is on vacation at Baxter when she finds a body floating in Katahdin Stream. To the dismay of the police, Jessie becomes involved – and eventually discloses the solution to the case.

Susan Connelly, author of the Nell Prentice Mystery Series and resident of St. George, says “Fans, new and old, of smart and inquisitive Jessie Tyler will love going along on her latest adventure, as a relaxing family trip to beautiful Baxter State Park lands Jessie right where she isn’t wanted—in the middle of a murder investigation.”
