Man Charged for East Haddam Teen’s Fatal Heroin Overdose: Police
A man suspected of distributing heroin is facing charges for an East Haddam teenager's death.
EAST HADDAM, CT – An Avon man is facing charges in the death of an East Haddam teen by heroin overdose, the Hartford Courant reported.
Kerry Scanlan, 20, has been charged by federal authorities for distributing heroin laced with fentanyl, according to the Hartford Courant. His arrest came after an investigation into the death of an East Haddam 18-year old.
The suspect was ordered detained in court Tuesday, the Hartford Courant reported. He will appear in court again on Aug. 23.
