Man Dies In Motorcycle Crash In Haddam: State Police
Police said he was pronounced dead at the scene.

HADDAM, CT — State police said a Windsor Locks man was killed in a motorcycle crash Monday night in Haddam after crashing into a guardrail.
According to a news release, police said Jose Maldonado, 41, was traveling northbound on Route 9 in the area of exit 9 when he lost control while negotiating a right hand curve and collided with a metal beam guardrail in the left shoulder. Witnesses said he was traveling at a high rate of speed, according to police.
Police said Maldonado was pronounced deceased at the scene.
