As executives, entrepreneurs and leaders, women play a more important role in the economy and the public life of New Haven and Connecticut than ever before. While there are thousands of female leaders, and their numbers are growing daily, some stand out from the crowd because of their achievements and commitment to lead by example and encourage others on the path to success. New Haven BIZ recently honored the achievement of 6 of those leaders as part of a unique awards initiative: Women in Business.
