New Haddam Brewery May Open By End of October

Steady Habit Brewing Company is making headway on its 'to do' list and is one step closer to opening.

Steady Habit Brewing Company is located on the banks of the Connecticut River in Haddam.

β€œIf you have not visited Haddam or the surrounding area we urge you to do so, as we believe it is a beautiful and unique part of the state,” Steady Habit’s team says. β€œWe believe Haddam was made to have a brewery in town. One of our initial goals is to become a part of our local community and establish a strong relationship within the community.”

On Wednesday, Oct. 1, the health department approved Steady Habit’s certificate of occupancy to operate as a brewery, according to the Steady Habits Facebook page.

Up next is a visit from the Building Department and fire marshall. If final approval is given, the provisional state license will follow and from there, the brewery could be open in three to four weeks time.

Right now, the brewery is not accepting visitors but will be upon opening! To stay up-to-date with Steady Habit happenings, visit the brewery on Facebook.
