John Levonick: I am more interested in why people support or do not support the decision.

Cherie Campbell: I'm thrilled, and hopeful that now we can concentrate on getting the truth about this Law out to the people, who will be pleased with what it really means, in contrast to the political "talking points" that have misled so many. This is a victory for the American people, we now have a responsibility to let them know why.

Keep the river front for all of usMaybe if we can be sure that EVERYONE---legally here or not, has to buy insurance, maybe we will curb the illegal border crossings ?

Peggie Bushey: Obama said many times "This is NOT a tax". Well, he, the contitutional scholar, was wrong. It is a massive..in fact the largest in American history...TAX!! on us!! Now Clinton has the new high school...more taxes...Killingworth wants a 3.5 million dollar town hall..more taxes for us..along with this tax. Why work?

Aurora Campbell: My work place employs over 50 people and doesn't do this. However what will this do to the healthcare specifically for those who cannot afford it within any reasonable means or even unreasonable means?

Cherie Campbell: Aurora, you will benefit by this law because now your employer will have to provide you with healthcare, and your employer by doing so will receive a tax credit.

Priscilla Hoover: But her employer may have to lay off people or not make new hires in order to afford the insurance.

Brenda Thorpe Hunter: Where is the freedom if the government can tax us for not buying what they want us to buy. What else are they going to be able to control in our lives. Should we only buy American cars or get penalized with a tax. This has set a dangerous precedent. It's also not going to bring down the cost of healthcare it's going to go higher and it's not going to help the economy or create jobs. Companies have been holding out hiring because of this law and they aren't going to start now. It's also not the same as car insurance or home owners insurance, you do not get a bill from the IRS if you don't buy them. We need carefully thought out healthcare reform including being able to purchase insurance across state lines. Some pieces are good...the pre-existing conditions and having kids stay on the parents policy til 26 but the individual mandate, I can't agree with. If this was a good law, why are so many citizens against it...
