Person Injured In Haddam Dump Truck Accident: Report

HADDAM, CT — A person was flown to the hospital following a dump truck crash Monday afternoon, The Middletown Press reported. The Haddam Fire Department received a report that the victim was trapped after the dump truck left the road near exit 9 on Route 9 south around 1 p.m.

Fire crews worked for more than an hour to extricate the victim and called in assistance from the Middletown Fire Department.

The victim was transported to Hartford Hospital via LifeStar helicopter, according to The Middletown Press.
