PHOTOS: Kyle Crandall wins $1,000 for Haddam Little League

Kyle Crandall was named the New Britain Rock Cats Baseball Club 2011 Hit, Run, and Throw Skills Competition Champion. The Haddam Little League will receive a $1,000 donation from the New Britain Rock Cats for Kyle’s accomplishments.

Kyle won his local league competition back in May to qualify for the Semi-Final stage held at New Britain Stadium in July. Kyle finished in the top 8 in the Semi-Finals to move onto the Finals that were held on Wednesday, August 10^th at New Britain Stadium. Competing against the other finalists from across the state, Kyle came out as the New Britain Rock Cats 2011 Hit, Run, and Throw Champion. Of over 300 youth baseball players who participated in the New Britain Rock Cats Hit, Run, and Throw Skills Competition this season, Kyle Crandall "is the best of the best."
