Police Activity Kept Students Indoors Monday In East Haddam

Three schools were placed in secure mode.

EAST HADDAM, CT — Police activity in town Sunday night kept students indoors Monday.

Three schools in the Moodus section of town were in secure mode early afternoon, according to the Hartford Courant.

There was no active search going on Monday and police weren't in the area, a police official told the Courant.
