Police Release Identity of Victim in Fiery Old Saybrook Crash
She was pronounced dead at the scene, despite officers attempts to pull her from the vehicle.

OLD SAYBROOK, CT – A woman who was killed in a car accident Friday night has been identified by police, NBC Connecticut reported.
Heather Gleason, 22, of Ivoryton was killed when her car burst into flames after hitting a tree near Bokum Road and Middlesex Turnpike, according to NBC Connecticut. She was pronounced dead at the scene, despite officers attempts to pull her from the vehicle.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident, NBC Connecticut reported. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
