Red Cross Assists Killingworth Family After Fire Damages Home

KILLINGWORTH, CT – The American Red cross is helping a family of four after their home was damaged by a fire this weekend, the Middletown Press reported.

The affected family consists of two adults and two children, according to the Middletown Press. The fire occurred at 191 Route 81, close to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The road was shut down for about a half an hour while crews battled the flames, the Middletown Press reported. It is not yet clear what caused the fire or if anyone was hurt.
