Region 17 Releases Budget Referendum Details

Regional School District 17 posted the following budget referendum information via Facebook.

Dear RSD 17 Community Members,

I would like to take this opportunity to provide you with the latest information on the next Budget Referendum. The second School Budget referendum will be held on Tuesday, June 2nd. Polling locations will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Polling Locations:

Killingworth:

• Killingworth Elementary School, 340 Route 81, Killingworth

Haddam:

• District #001: Haddam Firehouse Community Hall, 439 Saybrook Rd, Higganum
• District #002: Central Office, 57 Little City Rd, Higganum
• District #003: Haddam Neck Firehouse, 50 Rock Landing Rd, Haddam Neck

If you are in need of an absentee ballot, please visit this link to obtain the form.

Voters from both Haddam and Killingworth should use this absentee ballot form. You will need to complete, sign and return this form, in person, to your Town Clerk by 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 2nd.

Please note: This is a special form (ED-3R) which must be used when a referendum is called for with less than 3 weeks notice.
