Old Saybrook, Conn. ~ The Southeastern Connecticut chapter of SCORE, a nonprofit association dedicated to the success of small businesses, continues its year-round series of Small Business Workshops with “Enhancing Wealth Through Small Business Ownership.” After many years of successful small business operation and management, will you have sufficient wealth to retire? Will the resources to make your retirement possible be there? The presentation will look at a variety of retirement plans and steps that can lead to accumulation of assets to support your retirement objectives. The business structure, accounting, and management practices to support the long-term goal of achieving wealth for retirement will be reviewed.
Workshop Presenter Anthony D’Aurio has been engaged in the financial service industry since 1979. He is a licensed certified public accountant with a Masters in Taxation. He serves as a financial advisor and is a registered representative holding Series 6, 63 and 65 licenses. He is an insurance producer licensed for life and annuity products and a member of the Connecticut Partnership for Long-Term Care. His firm engages in wealth management programs for families and small business owners. Over the past 35 years he has helped many clients manage their business and financial affairs. He possesses a unique set of skills that allows him to analyze each financial decision with an insight toward wealth building and tax management. His areas of concentration are portfolio construction, asset management, retirement distribution strategies, wealth protection and income tax and legacy planning.
