Search Warrant Issued in St. Bridget Larceny Case
Reverend Fluet's name is reported as not appearing on the search warrant.
Earlier this year, CT State Police siezed electronic evidence as part of an investigation at in Moodus. The original investigation had begun back in December of 2011. At the time, the Diocese of Norwich confirmed that the pastor of the church, took a voluntary and temporary leave of absence.
Since then, the financial officer for the diocese has been in charge of the parish's finances, a former responsibility of Rev. Fluet.

No charges have been filed in the case, but the Middletown Press is reporting that there is a suspect pool that the state police are working on and an active criminal investigation for larceny is under way at the church.
The original complaint to the police came from a parishioner within the church itself and rumors had been swirling for months prior to any public complaints being filed.

According to the report, none of the search warrants are in Rev. Fluet’s name and there is no confirmation as to whether the reverend may be involved.
