SEPTA News: Final Meetings Scheduled for the Year
Special Education Parent Teacher Group meeting supporting East Haddam, Haddam/Killingworth and surrounding towns.

Bridge SEPTA Meeting May 8, 2013- 6 p.m.
Location: Regional District 17 Central Office
57 Little City Rd, Higganum Β
This monthβs Bridge SEPTA Meeting will feature Dr John Molteni, PhD, BCBA-D from St. Joseph College in West Hartford.Β Dr Molteni will be presenting his methods for successful toileting for all children regardless of age.Β
All are welcome.Β Refreshments will be served.
Bridge SEPTA Meeting June 5, 2013-6 p.m.
Our next meeting will be held at Nathan Hale Ray Middle School in Moodus at 97 Clark Gates Road onΒ June 5, 2013.Β This will be the last meeting of the school year.Β
Presenters will be Occupational, Speech and Special Education providers discussing strategies to keep kids on track for the summer.Β
We will reconvene next school year 2013-2014 on the second Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m.
Bridge SEPTA is a group of parents and teachers supporting each other and their children with Special Educational needs in East Haddam, Haddam/Killingworth, Colchester, East Hampton and other surrounding towns.Β Meetings are posted on Patch.com, local newspapers and the school web sites.
Bridge SEPTA is open to any parent or teacher interested in participating in a supportive environment discussing ways to improve education for all children with special needs. Parents are welcome to participate whether or not their child is enrolled in a program. You do not have to be a member of a school system to join, we welcome anyone who needs help navigating and understanding the maze of special education. We wantΒ to offer support to all families with concerns about special education.
