Get all of these questions answered and more at the Mark Twain House Museum on December 8th and 9th as the Stowe Center and the Mark Twain House Museum present the East Haddam Stage Company’s production of their original one-act play Sherlock Holmes: From Page to Stage.
Follow William Gillette from Hartford to San Francisco to New York and London as he played in and wrote quintessential Victorian comedies. Then hear how the stars aligned for the fateful meeting with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and how Gillette brought to life the super sleuth Sherlock Holmes.

The East Haddam Stage Company is known for producing original works and their motto of Minimal Set, Maximum Connection, is perfect for the intimate auditorium at the Mark Twain House Museum. 4 actors portray 12 characters in the life of William Gillette, from boyhood to the opening of the play that would change his life forever!
