Stolen: $35,000 in Silver and Gold Items From Haddam Neck House

Police identified a Middletown man as the suspect and are asking if anyone from the public knows of his whereabouts.

State Police at Troop F-Westbrook are seeking the public’s help to find a man charged with larceny in the first degree and burglary in the third degree.

The suspect is Owen Nelson, 33, of Bidwell Terrace in Middletown. He is described as 5’ 08” tall, 150 lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes.

Nelson is wanted for a reported burglary. On June 29 of this year, a daytime residential burglary was reported. Approximately $35,000.00 dollars in silver and gold items from a residence in Haddam Neck.

State Police began an investigation immediately and identified Nelson as the suspect. A court-issued arrest warrant has been issued for Nelson. Bond is set at $100,000.
