The Grandparents are back! The Grandparents are back!!
Take advantage of their return from the South to get some free babysitting!

Yeah, the built in babysitters have returned from the sunny shores and now you’re free to get out, get away and have a complete conversation without spilled milk or sticky fingers. So here’s to being entertained.
The Connecticut Storyteller’s Festival April 29-May 1, at Connecticut College in New London is the perfect place to get this relaxing and entertaining break. Friday night is family night and kids are welcome from 6:30- 9 p.m., April 29 for “Once and Twice Upon a Time”. I can’t say enough positive things about this evening. I took my kids last year and we LOVED it. There are no refreshments served for the early evening crowd.
Bring a bottle of water - we were parched by the end of the show. It opens with a contra dance in the lobby and the show starts at 7:30. Have Grandma and Grandpa bring the kids so they feel they have been treated to something special while you get yourselves ready to go away for the weekend. The adult’s only evening starts at 9:30 p.m., with “Mid-Nine Cabaret.”
