'Titanic,' 'Project Runway,' 'Pride and Prejudice'

This 2005 adaptation of the much-filmed Jane Austin's classic novel stars Judi Dench as Lady Catherine de Bourg, Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Bennet and a young Carey Mulligan as Kitty Bennet.

As a strange aside, Kiera's real-life five-year romance with co-star Rupert Friend, which began during this movie's filming, just this week was declared "off" by the tabloids.

Out of all versions of Austen's classic, this is generally considered to be in the top two, ahead of the 1995 British TV series starring Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle.

Titanic, 8 p.m., Oxygen

Tearjerker or corny melodrama? James Cameron's 1997 blockbuster won 11 Academy Awards, starring Kate Winslet (who had a role in '05's Sense and Sensibility and became a breakout star with this role) and Leonardo DiCaprio as star-crossed lovers in a fictionalized version of the great steamship's sinking in the North Atlantic in 1912.

See it just for the "I'm Flying" scene with impossibly young, sharp-jawed DiCaprio's hands on Winslet's modest waist at the apex of the oceanliner's bow. Mawkishly sentimental.

Project Runway, 8 p.m., Lifetime

"You Can Totally Wear That Again," episode 6 of season 8, is affectionately known as Everyone Hates Michael C. This addictively creative reality show starring creator Heidi Klum with guest judge Cynthia Rowley, features the challenge: designers are given the seemingly hopeless task of remaking bridesmaid's dresses. Michael C., Mondo and April vie for top spot spot with their sassy LBDs.
