To Do Lists... Love 'Em or Ditch 'Em?

I love love love to make To-Do Lists. I like to  (need to) write one every day since I have a Type A personality accompanied by the (occasional) Attention Deficit Disorder. Sometimes I feel so motivated that I make a To-Do-This-Week List. Sometimes I have multiple To-Do Lists happening simultaneously in the house. Sometimes I make a To-Do List just so I can procrastinate from doing things on my To-Do List. Sometimes I make a To-Do List after I've accomplished tasks just so that I can cross them off my list.
I think I'll make  To Do list that says "Blog on Patch".
Good: I can check that off the list.
