  1. Tragedy struck the local community Friday afternoon when 18-year-old Steven Zichichi of Killingworth was killed in a one-car crash in Haddam. According to Connecticut State Police, he was the passenger of a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette that crashed into a tree on Route 154. The driver, 19-year-old John M. Kowal of Higganum, was taken to the hospital for treatment of suspected minor injuries.(The Haddams-Killingworth Patch)
  2. A Ukrainian fundraiser and silent auction will be held by St. Peter Church in Higganum and St. Lawrence Church in Killingworth. (HK-Now)
  3. According to a recent press release, Middlesex Community College has earned a gold ranking in the national Military Friendly® Schools list for 2022–2023.
