A woman was traveling in the area of 103 North Moodus Road in East Haddam when she heard “a loud pop” and noticed her rear window had been shattered. According to the report, it appears as if “a small bullet was shot at the window.” No injuries were reported. Anyone with information is being asked to contact Troop K.

John Fournier of 250 East Haddam-Colchester Turnpike reported slashed tires on three of his vehicles, which were all parked in his yard at the time of the incident. The case is currently under investigation. Anyone with information is being asked to contact Corporal Karl Karabeinikoff at the East Haddam Police Department at 860-873-1226.
Ryan Hall of 43 Florida Road, East Haddam was travelling southbound on the East Haddam-Colchester Turnpike when he lost control and drove into a ditch. The vehicle sustained heavy damage and had to be towed from the scene. Hall is reported as having left the scene prior to police arriving. The investigation into the accident is active.

Jeffrey Hansen of 29 Powerhouse Road, Moodus was driving a vehicle owned by Daniels Equipment Company when he swerved to avoid an animal in the road on 149 northbound. He struck a catch basin, causing damage to the right front and rear tires. No injuries were reported.
