Killingworth is holding a "Truck-or-Treat" event tonight from 5:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. at the Haddam-Killingworth Middle School parking lot. Here's the full notice from the school district: Kids can trick-or-treat from trunk to trunk. Many streets will still lack power this evening. The lighted parking lot will be a safer alternative. Bring your car, your candy, and your kids. If you plan to park and receive trick-or-treaters, please plan to be parked by 5:45 and to stay until the end. Decorate your car if you can. If you want to trick-or-treat but not receive little hobgoblins, please park in one of the front lots (toward RT. 81)
